Privacy policy

This policy explains how PraguePrivate handles personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Czech law.

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is the company that operates PraguePrivate. Its name, company ID and registered address are shown at the bottom of every page of this website. You can contact us about data protection at info@pragueprivate.cz.

What data we collect

• Requests and forms: your name, email address and, if you provide them, phone number, country, travel dates, group size, preferences and the message you write.
• Bookings: the details needed to arrange your services, such as names of travellers, flight numbers, hotel details, dietary needs or mobility needs you choose to share.
• Email correspondence: the messages you send us and our replies.
• Website use: technical data needed to run the website securely. If analytics are enabled, we use a privacy-friendly tool that does not use cookies and does not identify you.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

• To answer your request and prepare a quote (steps before a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To arrange and deliver the services you book (performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b)).
• To meet our legal obligations, for example in accounting and tax (Article 6(1)(c)).
• To protect the website and our business against misuse and to handle claims (legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f)).

Special categories of data, such as health information related to mobility or allergies, are processed only when you give them to us for the purpose of arranging suitable services, and only to the extent necessary.

Who receives your data

We share only what is needed to deliver your services with the providers involved, such as hotels, transport companies, guides, restaurants and ticket sellers. We also use service providers for website hosting, email and, if enabled, spam protection of our forms. They process data on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months after our last contact. Booking and accounting records are kept for the periods required by Czech law. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed for the purpose it relates to.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability, and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. Write to info@pragueprivate.cz and we reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), or with the authority in your country of residence.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It works without a cookie banner because it only relies on technically necessary functions and, if enabled, cookieless analytics.

Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
